INTRODUCTION

The RAHMAH Sales Program (PJRM) is organized by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) of Malaysia. This program offers daily essential goods at prices up to 30% lower than regular local market prices.
The Rahmah Sales Program (PJRM) is one of the initiatives implemented by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) under the Payung RAHMAH initiative.
The PJRM is a year-long sales program for 2024 conducted by major supermarkets and retailers. KPDN aims to offer discounts ranging from 10% to 30%, prioritizing locations frequented by low-income individuals. This program is carried out in all 222 parliamentary constituencies across the country.
The RAHMAH Sales Program was launched by the late Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub former Minister of KPDN, on January 11, 2023.
Some of the daily essentials offered at discounted prices include chicken, fish and seafood, chicken eggs, refined white sugar, bottled cooking oil, wheat flour, rice, vegetables/fruits, personal care items, household cleaning products, disposable diapers, school supplies, medicines, and other food and non-food necessities.

MODEL	IMPLEMENTATION
1. In-Premises Implementation Model	The existing model by the premises/supermarkets. Utilizes the Rahmah Sales brand and logo. Implementation is based on the initiative of the premises/supermarkets themselves. The discount rate offered is subject to discussion and agreement between the premises and the government.
2. Open Area/Out-of-Premises Implementation Model	One of the implementation model options but not a priority. Only implemented based on specific/special needs. Minimizes related costs for logistics, transportation, and other related expenses.
3. Mobile Implementation Model	Operates using suitable trucks/vans that carry selected daily essential goods to the designated areas. Implemented in areas that do not have suitable retail premises for conducting Rahmah Sales.
