Introduction
Starting from 15th June 2011, the effective date of Hire Purchase Act 1976 (Amendment 2010), any individuals who intended to carry out the activity of repossession of goods comprised in Hire-Purchase Agreement such as cars, are required to obtain consent issued by KPDN.
Any person who wants to request for permit to carry out the activity of repossession of goods comprised in hire-purchase agreement must fulfil the following requirements:
- Has reached the age of twenty one years old
- A Malaysian; and
- Any other requirements set by the Controller
How To Apply
Applicants must submit their application online through the MyEPS System at the link https://myeps.kpdn.gov.my.
For permit renewal matters, applicants must submit their application through the MyEPS System six (6) months before the permit's expiry date.
