INTRODUCTION  

1. From 17 September 2021, the retail sector nationwide has been allowed to operate fully under the National Recovery Plan (NRP).
2. To help retail industry players boost the activities of the retail sector and restore the confidence of buyers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry is implementing Program Jualan Malaysia to help recover, revitalize and revive the retail sector across the country to contribute to the national economy.

OBJECTIVES OF THE MALAYSIAN SALES PROGRAM

1. To enhance the retail sector and restore consumer confidence to spend under the National Recovery Plan (NRP)
2. To increase the contribution of the retail sector to Gross Domestic Product (GDP);
3. To coordinate the promotion of sales by segment throughout the country; and
4. To increase MySales Tracker application downloads among merchants and users.
