Background

The Accounts Division (BA), Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living was established in December 2013 with a total staff of 20 people. BA's organizational structure consists of four (4) main sections namely Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Consulting & Monitoring and Administration & Finance.

Objective

Ensure efficient and effective delivery of accounting and financial services.

Function

  1. Prepare the Ministry's Financial Statements that are accurate and according to the set period.
  2. Implement the Ministry's Accounting and Financial Management in an orderly manner and in accordance with the regulations in force.
  3. Prepare and analyze financial and non-financial information to assist the Ministry in making effective decisions.
  4. Provide quality and effective advisory and consulting services to stake holders.
