CONTROL OF SUPPLIES (PROHIBITION ON IMPORT) 2021

It is informed that the Ministry has gazetted the Supply Control (PPKB) (Import Prohibition) Regulations 2021 which came into effect on 26 November 2021.

Under this rule, no person may import any controlled goods except with the written permission of the Controller of Supply as follows:

Notwithstanding the provisions under PPKB (Prohibition of Import) 2021, importing the above-controlled goods is still subject to the Customs (Prohibition on Import) Order 2017. Any party intending to carry out import activities for the controlled goods must comply.
